The Ultimate Day Out in London Bridge

Published: 28/02/2022

Our estate agents spend much time wandering the streets of London Bridge, conducting viewings and valuations, and so we have some great tips of things to do in the area. We have put together this guide to the best day out in London Bridge. We wanted to share these tips, so here is our guide of what to do in London Bridge.

Morning

Fuel yourself for your busy day ahead with a visit to The Breakfast Club London Bridge. The Breakfast Club has a cult following, there are several branches in London, and most of these have queues around the corner each morning. The Breakfast Club offers American-esque brunch classics such as pancake stacks, breakfast burritos, and cornflake covered chicken wings.

Afternoon

The London Bridge Experience is a great attraction for visitors of all ages, winner of ‘the best scare attraction’ for the last 11 years running, it’s a chance to travel back in time and experience London’s history. The experience is set within the original vaults of London Bridge, it covers notorious figures such as Jack the Ripper and Queen Boudica.

Late Afternoon

To stretch your legs, and avoid the mid-afternoon slump, our estate agents prescribe a walk along the south bank of the river. Stop at Monmouth coffee for a takeaway cup of Joe for your journey (if you are really in need of a pick me up). The south bank offers some of the best views across the Thames. You can enjoy sights such as the Millennium Bridge, and St Pauls sitting behind it, Shakespeare’s Globe, and Tower Bridge.

Early Evening

Dinner time, our estate agents love The Coal Shed which offers high end fish and steak dishes. As the name may suggest, they are experts when it comes to cooking exceptional dishes over coals. Their menu focuses on seasonal and sustainable meat, from the Lake District, and seafood, from the South Coast. The meat and seafood may be the star of the show, but the sides make a great supporting ac. Expect beef dripping chips, short rib mac n’ cheese, and pickled onion rings.

Evening

Catch the sunset whilst sipping cocktails on the 52nd floor of The Shard. GŎNG Bar is the perfect place for late night for late night drinks with views across the city. They offer a creative menu of beverages that focuses on simplicity and sustainability.
